Better than Bailey's - Homemade Irish Cream


R&G Homemade Irish Cream

40(+) - 1 oz Servings

2 cups Jameson Whiskey 1-14 oz can California Farms Organic Sweetened Condensed Milk 2 cups Kalona Organic Whipping Cream 1 tsp Simply Organic Madagascar Pure Vanilla Extract Organic 3 tbsp Medaglia D'oro Instant Espresso Coffee 3 tbsp Santa Cruz Organic Chocolate Syrup 4 Pete and Gerry's Organic Free Range Eggs

Blend eggs, chocolate syrup, instant espresso,

and vanilla extract in a blender for 30-60 seconds. Pour sweetened condensed milk and whipping cream into the egg mixture; blend again until smooth. Pour whiskey into the blender; blend until smooth. Do not over blend as it will become gelatinous.

After enjoying a shot or two for scientific tasting purposes ;), chill overnight before serving. You can add more coffee or chocolate if desired and almond extract may be substituted for vanilla. Around Christmas, I always enjoy adding a drop or two of my Young Living Peppermint Essential Oil for a minty indulgence. Of course, you could also try this with other flavor enhancements: Caramel, Cinnamon, hazelnut, etc. We pour into 8 oz jelly jars or 16 oz mason jars and gift these to our loved ones for the holidays.
