main course
Marinade for Tenderloin
3/4 cup tamari sauce or coconut aminos
3/4 cup Chardonnay or Beef Broth
1 teaspoon ground mustard
4 teaspoons Dijon mustard
3 garlic cloves or 3 teaspoons minced garlic
2 drops Rosemary Vitality Essential Oil
Whisk these ingredients together and allow your grass-fed, organic meat to marinade in this mixture for at least 4 hours, but ideally overnight. Grill tenderloin as desired (you get bonus points for enjoying your beef Medium-Rare like ME!)
adult beverage suggestion
Lime Ricki
Fill a highball glass (10-12 oz) with ice to the top
Onto the ice add:
1 drop Slique Essence Essential Oil
2 drop Lime Vitality Essential Oil
2 oz of Prairie Organic Gin (Check out their site, VERY similar slogan and standards as YL. "From Seed to Glass", "own the land & the distillery...")
Squeeze juice from 1/2 organic lime over gin
(Before you squeeze the lime, slice off the open end for a circle garnish. 1/16 - 1/8" is as wide as it should be, add another slice half way into the middle to slide this garnish on your glass.)
Top off the remainder of the glass with sparkling or soda water and stir gently.
For those of you that are accustomed to drinking SWEET cocktails, you could try this with tonic or add a bit of sweetener. However, there are already plenty of empty calories in your booze. I encourage you to challenge your pallet and wean down the added sugar.
Although I share the name (official cocktail is spelled "Rickey") and it happens to be my favorite libation, I did not invent this recipe. It is fair to say, my husband and I perfected it with implementing AWESOME organic Gin and our AMAZING essential oils. By the way, we are playing around with making our variation of Gin. Since Gin is basically just vodka infused herbs & botanicals, we should be able to allow our EO's to marinade into the vodka for some time (which is the experimental part of this process), to develop a Gin flavor. More to come after we taste test our variations!
